Diseases related to Heart : Reasons and Solutions

Not only India, but whole world is approaching towards a pandemic called as Heart Disease.

In our country around 5 crore people are suffering from diseases related to heart. According to WHO it will soon reach to 10 crore or more.

And the matter of concern is that, youngsters are more prone to it. Before the age of 40, many people acquire this disease. Come, let us understand precautions, treatment and stuffs related to heart.

Anatomy

The heart is a muscular organ about the size of a fist, located just behind and slightly left of the breastbone. The heart pumps blood through the network of arteries and veins called the cardiovascular system.

Heart has 2 main pumps, that takes impure blood from lungs, purifies it and pumps the pure blood throughout the body parts. This process goes on for the entire life of an individual without taking a halt. In between the two beats, the heart takes its rest. It beats for around 70 times in a minute.

Whenever we fall asleep, the heartrate goes down to 55 beats per minute, the reason being, since the functioning of body decreases during rest and so is the demand, hence the pumping of heart decreases accordingly.

Sometimes after a nightmare or a frighten dream, we wake up suddenly from the sleep, we feel our heartbeat to raise, reason being the Stress. As the stress level goes down our heartbeat reaches to normal level. This happens at many circumstances in our life whenever we are afraid, stressed or situations like so. If such a situation continuous for a long period what we can do is: we can massage softly on the neck, below the earlobe, at or below the boundary of mandible(lower jaw) in the direction of vagus nerve. Even acupressure method follows the same.

Reason for heart disease :

Blood is the only food for heart. As compared to other body parts and organs, heart requires 10 times more nourishment. It gets its nourishment from its 2 Coronary Arteries. But with increasing age , fats and other unwanted lipids starts getting deposited in the artery which obstructs the artery and hence the blood flow. When this fats completely obstructs the vessel it does not allow blood to pass through and hence it leads to blockage and heart stroke.

1) OBESITY

With increase in obesity,Load on blood vessels increases, which ultimately results in increase in blood pressure. With increase in blood pressure, the rest period of heart(in between of two beats) decreases. Lack of rest and increase in work load leads to illness related to heart.

2) STRESS

In this era of competition and high ambition, life of an individual is so stressful which affects the adrenalin gland. This gland remains active for long resulting into secretion of more adrenaline and noradrenaline hormones. The effect of this hormone is equivalent to Nicotine i.e., it ultimately raises the B.p. and HeartBeat.

3) EXERTION

Excess of labour, that too once in a week or exercising for long increases work load on heart to multiple times and which is very harmful. Hence working regularly and in limit is fruitful.
